Potato Assistant respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use Potato Assistant.

Information We Access

Potato Assistant may request access to the following device permissions:

  1. Location Used for map display, location selection, and location-related device testing features.
  2. Photos Used to select photos and save new photo copies with updated GPS metadata. The original photos are not modified.
  3. Bluetooth Used to scan, connect, and debug nearby Bluetooth BLE devices.
  4. Local Network Used for device connection, TCP/UDP communication, and network debugging features.

Data Usage

Potato Assistant uses the above information only to provide app features such as device testing, BLE debugging, network debugging, photo GPS metadata writing, and device status viewing.

Data Storage

Some settings, history records, favorite templates, and debugging logs may be stored locally on your device to improve your experience.

Data Sharing

Potato Assistant does not sell your personal information.

The app may communicate with connected devices or configured network endpoints when you use related debugging features. Any data sent through HTTP, TCP, UDP, Bluetooth, or device communication tools is controlled by the user.

Photo Handling

When writing GPS metadata to photos, Potato Assistant creates new photo copies and keeps the original photos unchanged.
